Terms & Conditions

Welcome and thank you for visiting www.theeditconcierge.co.uk. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) and The Edit Concierge Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). 

Please read these Terms carefully before engaging our services. By making an enquiry, booking a consultation or paying a deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms outline how we work and what you can expect when booking a service with The Edit Concierge. Full Terms are provided to all confirmed clients prior to the commencement of services.

1. Services provided

We provide bespoke home organisation and lifestyle editing services, tailored to each Client’s needs. All services are confirmed following consultation and are delivered in-home or virtually based on discussion and agreement.

2. Fees

Fees for bespoke services begin from £250 and are discussed and agreed during consultation. Final pricing reflects the scope of the project, location and level of support required.

Additional time
Where work extends beyond standard hours, the following may apply:

  • Sessions after 5pm are charged at £75 per hour, per organiser

  • Weekend and bank holiday sessions are charged at an adjusted rate

 

Travel
Travel within 10 miles of DA14 is included. Additional mileage, parking, tolls and accommodation (if required) will be added to the overall fee and discussed in advance.

3. Bookings & Payments

A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your session.

 

Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • More than 14 days’ notice: reschedule once at no charge

  • 13 days or fewer: non-refundable but may be rescheduled if availability allows

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: full session fee is due

  • Cancellations must be made in writing

 

If we must cancel due to illness or emergency we will offer an alternative date.

5. Client REsponsibilities

Please ensure that you:

 

  • Provide safe clear access to the working area

  • Are available during the session for decision-making

  • Inform us of hazards (pets, infestations, structural issues etc.)

  • Assemble storage or furniture unless agreed otherwise

 

If the home conditions differ significantly from what was described the session may be rescheduled or cancelled.

6. Our REsponsibilities & Insurance

We commit to:

  • Providing a professional, respectful and judgment-free service.

  • Working confidentially and treating all client information as private.

  • Handling belongings with reasonable care.

 

The Edit Concierge is fully insured and holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance with cover of £1,000,000 per claim and in the annual aggregate for the services provided.

This insurance is underwritten by Westfield Specialty Syndicate 1200 and arranged via Westminster Insurance Ltd, policy number 138898. This cover applies within the United Kingdom and is maintained in line with industry standards. Evidence of insurance can be provided upon request.

Whilst we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee against accidental damage. The Client is responsible for ensuring their home and contents insurance is adequate and up to date.

7. Products & PurcHases

Where products are sourced on your behalf:

  • Payment is required upfront

  • Unused items may be returned if unopened

  • Refunds are issued as credit notes (valid 12 months)

8. Photography

Before and after photos will only be taken or shared with your explicit written consent.

9. Liability

We cannot accept liability for damage caused by age fragility or pre-existing defects. Clients are advised to have appropriate home and contents insurance.
